DALLAS, Texas – March 6, 2019 – Lone Sky Aero Advisors is excited to announce the formation of their aircraft sales and consulting organization. The business aviation, aerospace and defense advisory firm is headquartered in the Dallas/Fort Worth area with supporting offices in Connecticut. While the company serves clients worldwide, they specialize in the aviation interests of the U.S., Western Europe, Western Africa, and parts of the Pacific Rim.

Lone Sky Aero Advisors was formed by three industry veterans to provide worldwide aircraft sales and purchasing services, aerospace and defense contract consulting, aircraft management and operations consulting, and aviation business financial management programs. Founded by Phil Jordan, Chad Collins, and Herb Knight, the company has decades of experience in private aviation and is well-positioned to navigate the nuances of the industry for each of their clients, exceeding expectations and service standards.

Phil Jordan, President and Co-founder, is a former commercial pilot with over 30 years’ experience in private, corporate and general aviation. Mr. Jordan has held various aviation services management positions as well as owning an aircraft sales, FBO, MRO, and aviation consulting business. His long history of aviation expertise combined with a rounded education in business – specializing in aviation insurance and risk management – form the perfect blend of qualifications that jet transactions demand.

Herb Knight, Vice President and Co-founder, has spent more than thirty years in private aviation. He has significant experience in managing all corporate daily financial activities, as well as aircraft sales and management services sales, client reporting and administrative services. In his long career, including years with Gama Aviation and Tempus, Mr. Knight progressed from staff accountant to the role of VP of Aircraft Sales and Management, giving him a broad and unique background.

Chad Collins, Vice President and Co-founder, is an experienced business advisor with a long history of working in private aviation. With his years at Sentient Jet, an innovative business aviation company focused on safety, Mr. Collins is a strong entrepreneurship professional skilled in operations management, aircraft acquisitions, aircraft maintenance and international business development.
